Go for the chicken and skip the rest. Tasty and fresh fried for a perfect crunchy shell every time. I've been twice and had wings, fried chicken cutlet, the squid skewer, takoyaki, and lu rou fan.
Because it is fresh fried and it seems like there's only 2-3 people working at a time, the chicken usually takes 15-20 minutes to cook. The chicken has always been seasoned well and juicy.
3 .5 stars because the pricing is on par with bonchon and the last time I went they only had drummies for the wings. The portions for the non-chicken items were small for the price and not super flavorful. -

Expensive for what it was. Walked in and the girl said the chicken pieces were small that day, so she would give me ONE extra piece. Cool. Then another guy walks into the place and she tells him the chicken pieces are small, so she will give him TWO extra pieces. Not cool. The combo meal came out to about $14 plus change. Really not worth it for the small amount of protein that it came with (braised pork rice, wings, and fries). The pork rice was mostly just dried rice, barely any meat. Fries were good, but that's an inexpensive filler. Again, the wings really were super small and even though they threw in "extra" it was still a pricy meal for fast food. Might as well go to KFC, the chicken tasted the same as any other fried chicken.

Came here to try the popcorn chicken with the sweet sour sauce. Wait time was not too long and wait time for food was not too long. It's fried decently well and good dough to chicken ratio. A really small restaurant but good service.

I like the chicken wings with sprinkled seaweed topping. They also have a spicy or non-spicy option which is not clarified on the menu. The place is mostly take-out, with a 4-5 bar seats. Due to their size and I think relative newness, there were only two ladies working a Friday evening around dinner time. They didn't start cooking until we ordered and another group ordered and another group. As a result, the chicken was super fresh out of the fryer and hot. But it took much longer than expected because they were soon overwhelmed by the number of customers.
We also got the chicken tenders but they were lacking in texture and taste. Next time I may not get a topping because the chicken wings were a bit salty for my taste, and I don't have a super pure palate given my extensive Asian meals. Lost one star on the salt and the delay in getting food out. Another star on the subpar chicken tenders. I would only return for the chicken wings, on a not busy day. And maybe to try the mixed beef rice side dish. -

In Chinatown, Boom Crispy Chicken is a pretty overlooked spot. I like their combo orders, it comes with rice, fried chicken and fries. It's quite tasty to me and is very satisfying
